FAQS- THE P-SHOT®

more than a boost of confidence.

Are you ready to take your love life to the next level? The P-Shot® is a drug & surgery-free Erectile Dysfunction treatment that can enhance your sexual performance AND is one of the ONLY non-surgical methods that may increase penis size.

Who is a good candidate for the p-Shot®?

Although blood is mainly a liquid (called plasma), it also contains red cells, white cells, and platelets. The platelets are vital in the blood clotting process. However, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which are very important in the healing of injuries and tissues.

PRP is plasma with many more platelets than are typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets and as such, the concentration of growth factors can be 5 to 10 times richer than regular blood.
To obtain PRP, blood is drawn from the patient and the platelets are separated from other blood cells through a process called a centrifugation.

Who is a good candidate for the p-Shot®?

About 5% of men that are 40 years old have complete erectile dysfunction, and that number increases to about 15% of men at age 70. Mild and moderate erectile dysfunction affects approximately 10% of men per decade of life (i.e. 50% of men in their 50s, 60% of men in their 60s.) Erectile dysfunction can occur at any age, but it is more common in men that are older. Older men are more likely to have health conditions that require medication, which can interfere with erectile function.

The Pripaus Shot® is a natural treatment option for many men looking for improved sexual health and function and an improved sex life.

The P-Shot® may also offer a solution for patients who have:

  • Decreased sensation and pleasure
  • Inability to achieve a full erection
  • Medical Conditions such as obesity, Diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol
  • Side effects of medication
  • Difficulty maintaining your erection until your partner is satisfied
  • Decrease in size (typically seen with normal aging)
  • Peyronie’s Disease (curvature of the penis that causes pain or an inability to have sex)
  • Prostate issues (Prostate Cancer / Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH))

Frequently asked questions about the Priapus Shot®

What is in the Priapus Shot®?

The key in gradient in the Priapus Shot® is Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP. PRP concentrates the healing and growth factors in your blood into an injectable treatment. The PRP in the Priapus Shot® helps to improve blood flow to the penis, resulting in stronger, longer, and more sustainable erections.

How fast can I see results?

Many men experience improved girth with the P-Shot® almost immediately after the procedure. Increases in the health and function of the penis are expected to occur approximately 3 weeks after the procedure.

Are there any side effects? Risks? Downtime?

The P-shot® is an in-office procedure. It takes about 30 minutes, and there is minimal discomfort and no downtime. Since it is made from your own blood, there are little or no side effects. Many men are able to have sex the same day of the procedure.

Where is the penis injection given?

The Priapus injection is applied to the parts of your penis that are most important to sexual arousal and erectile function.

Is it painful? Does the Priapus Shot® hurt?

Before giving the injection, we apply a local anesthetic (numbing cream) and/or a nerve block as needed to the penis. The anesthetic results is minimal to no discomfort.

How much increase in size can I expect?

It can take time to realize the results from the P-Shot®, however after about 8-12 weeks, increases in both length and girth have been reported. As with any medical procedure, not all patients will experience every benefit of the P-Shot®.

Is there anything I need to do after receiving the P-Shot®?

After the Priapus Shot® procedure, to ensure your best result, you will need to use a provided vacuum pump device to stretch the tissues of the penis. A penis pump consists of a pump that is attached to a cylinder and is designed to help men who have erectile dysfunction achieve and maintain an erection. To use a penis pump, you place the transparent cylinder, which is fitted with an airtight seal at its base, over your penis. You then use the pump, which can be operated either electrically or manually, to pump the air out of the cylinder, which creates a partial vacuum around your penis. The vacuum forces blood to flow into the penis, which results in an immediate incrase in both penis length and size.

Will I need to see the doctor after the procedure?

A brief follow-up visit is generally recommended four weeks after your P-Shot® procedure. Some men choose to have a second P-Shot® injection, but that depends on your particular results, and the opinion of your P-Shot® doctor.

How much does the P-Shot® cost?

A lot of men are concerned about the cost of the P-Shot®. Unfortunately, healthcare benefits will not pay for the procedure. However, the investment may not be that expensive relative to its results. Consider the overall value of the P-Shot® and its potential improvement in health and function. Unlike daily oral ED medications, there are no prescriptions to refill. The cost is considerably less than a penile implant.

It is the only non-surgical method to increase penis size, and its efects may last for a year or more, which makes it a viable cost-effective option, when compared to male enhancement surgery.
